A solid state proportional control is used to provide accurate and stable temperatures. For safety, a manual reset cut out, disconnects power to the element if the water level falls too low. The tank and surround is polished, grade 304 stainless steel, and the outer case is manufactured from a chemical and flame resistant plastic to provide durability and safety. A perforated panel is supplied to support flasks and containers. Polycarbonate or stainless steel gabled lids are available as an option.

Waterbath RT7

The RT7 insulated tank is available with bridge plate and plumbing fittings attached. A reservoir of approximately 7 litres of water can be temperature controlled using a Ratek TH5 or TH3P thermoregulator for circulation externally. Single wall clear polycarbonate tanks up to 20 litres can be manufactured for use when precise temperature control is not important.

The Ratek Shaking waterbath is designed to suit a variety of procedures where temperature controlled water and agitation is required, and can operate continuously for long periods of time. For added versatility the waterbath and shaker can operate independently, the shaker platform can be easily removed. A solid state proportional control is used to provide accurate and stable temperatures. Safety features include, a resetable cut out that disconnects power to the element if the water level falls below minimum, plus the Motion Interrupt feature that in the event of any obstruction to the platform travel being detected, will remove power to the drive motor.
